Leonor was born and raised in Amsterdam where she earned her BA in Communication Science. In 2010, she joined Circle Culture, a fashion and art-focused agency in Berlin where she worked for two years on concepting, marketing, and brand building. While there, she also produced Berlin Fashion Week events for Grazia Magazine and Maxi Magazine. From 2012 to 2014, she went back to school at Academie Artemis in Amsterdam to study fashion styling. Here, she worked on real world case studies designing concepts, strategies, and campaigns for brands.
After earning her second diploma, she moved back to Berlin and worked as a styling assistant to Jennifer Hanh. With Hanh, Leonor styled editorial content for clients like L’Officiel, Schön, Olsen, Belmondo, Beate Uhse, Möbel Hübner, and Villeroy & Boch. She also worked on a monthly series for Gala Magazine featuring personalities such as Alicia von Rittberg, Larissa Kerner, Wotan Wilke Möhring, Natascha Ochsenknecht, and Lily Becker. She had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from photographers like Dirk Messner, Lina Tesch, Lado Alexi, and Jem Mitchell.
Leonor styled video clips for the likes of Accenture, de Bijenkorf, Sony Music, Stargate Music, Universal Music, Amazon and Disney. In addition to her styling work, Leonor also simultaneously worked as a freelance Portrait Photographer. she discovered her passion for portrait photography as early as 2009 and has since grown that passion into a legitimate freelance profession. Then from 2017 on, she worked with Retail Media Group and Signals Iduna to develop their photography portfolio.
Leonor’s current mission is to use her multidisciplinary skills, to produce content for brands with a commitment to sustainability. In 2016, she co-founded the Berlin-based digital content agency, xo berlin. Here, she combines her extensive experience in the industry and her talent for visualising aesthetics, to direct & produce short video pieces that can be used for online marketing.
